Natalie Southern - Review and Reflection

Our final advert I think was actually quite successful in the way that it was edited together well, it was well shot from different angles. The main let down, and it's not so much a let down in itself, was that it's nothing like we planned it to be. However, during the filming we planned to use quick, fast paced cuts to edit together to make the advert upbeat and adrenaline filled, as that's what sport does to you. This worked out really well actually. I think what made the advert most effective was actually the quick shots. This gave the viewer the idea that this is how they would perform if they wore nike clothes, on the other hand the major downside was that we couldn't really get a brilliant shot of the nike logo, so you do struggle to actually make out what we are actually advertising.

The advert itself is set around a forest and shows Robin running through trees, down a hill and basically doing all mad things. This wouldn't be as effective if it was set on a street in the middle of a city I don't think, mainly because he wouldn't be able to do half the stuff that he actually does in the video and he'd just mainly be running. I don't think there's anything that should actually be changed about this video as I think it's effective the way that it is.
